This circuit will allow you to throw an LGB switch motor with a DPDT momentary on / center off switch so that a 12 volt pulse will be delivered each time the switch is thrown one way or the other.  The switch I used is similar to this one:

 http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/STS-79/DPDT-ON-OFF-ON-MOMENTARY-TOGGLE-SWITCH-20A/1.html

A dual coil latching relay similar to this one:

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=PB1085-ND

is used to drive two LEDs.

Please note that some dual coil latching relays are polarity sensitive.  The one I used was that type and the wiring shown here does work.  Other relays might need the wiring to the coils to be reversed.

This is a breadboard "proof of concept" test.

(note that it looks like both LEDs are lit - the red is lit the green is reflecting the flash)

Here the switch has been thrown the other way.

A close-up of the breadboard.
