A request was made for a closed box for damp outside
use and, after a number of experiments and prototypes were made and
discarded, the following design was chosen.

The box is made of two 1/4"
Plexiglas panels that have a slot cut into them to hold the top and
bottom pieces of Plexiglas. The sides are made of blocks of
genuine Western Pennsylvania walnut, cut from a tree at a friend's
farm. Two screws on each side fasten the
left wood block and only one is used on the right side to expedite
access to the inner workings of the unit. |
